Player Recommendations

Leo Greiml (19) - DEF - Rapid Vienna - 0.023ETH - Limited

In Rapid's 3-0 win over Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League playoff first leg, the man of the evening was quickly found: Leo Greiml.

The 20-year-old from Lower Austria confirmed his upwardly mobile form against the Ukrainians by being the rock of the green-white team defensively. Currently, Greiml has secured a fixed place next to Maximilian Hofmann in central defense, no easy feat considering that newcomer Kevin Wimmer, a nine-time Austrian international, is only guarding the bench.

"I'm brutally happy for him, of course," Hofmann said after the win against Zorya Luhansk, pleased with the development of his center-back. "He's such a let wander guy, a real Waldviertel tree who knocks everything away."

Filip Stevanovic (18) - FOR - Heerenveen - 0.019ETH - Limited

Born in Arilje, he made his first footballing steps at local club Vranić. He later joined the youth system of Partizan after being scouted by Dušan Trbojević.

On 9 December 2018, Stevanović made his official senior debut for Partizan in a 3–0 away league victory over Rad, coming on as an 82nd-minute substitute for Đorđe Ivanović. He made three more league appearances through the remainder of the season.

On 1 August 2019, Stevanović scored his first goal for Partizan after coming off the bench in the return leg of the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League second qualifying round, a 3–0 home win versus Welsh side Connah's Quay Nomads. He thus became their youngest ever scorer in UEFA competitions and the second youngest in club history, at 16 years and 311 days old. Three days later, Stevanović netted his first league goal for Partizan, opening the scoring in an eventual 4–0 home victory over Mačva Šabac. He subsequently contributed with a brace in a 3–0 home win versus Rad on 18 August.

In October 2020, it was announced that Stevanović had agreed to join Manchester City in the following January.

Devyne Rensch (18) - DEF - Ajax - 0.018ETH - Limited

Rensch played in the youth academies of VV Unicum and Ajax. In the 2020–21 pre-season, Rensch, who had not yet made an appearance for Jong Ajax at that time, was given several minutes of play in Ajax's first team. During the regular season, he was officially part of the first team, but he played most of his matches for Jong Ajax. On 19 November 2020, he was awarded the Abdelhak Nouri Trophy as the best talent of Ajax's youth academy in the 2019–20 season. He succeeded Naci Ünüvar, who received the prize a year earlier.

Rensch made his debut for Ajax's first team on 28 November 2020, in an Eredivisie match against Emmen. He made his first start on 31 January 2021. On 18 February, he made his European debut in the UEFA Europa League against Lille OSC. He scored his first goal for Ajax on 21 March in a 5–0 home win over ADO Den Haag. In the course of the season, he received more and more playing time as a right-back, partly due to injuries to other players.

Rensch fulfilled this role well and was a starter for Ajax in the second half of the season. On 18 April 2021, he won his first silverware with Ajax by beating Vitesse in the KNVB Cup final. After that, the Eredivisie title was also won.

Quote Of The Week

Ledger is not the biggest crypto-company in France, it is Sorare. They have raised 500M$ recently, are valued more than 1.5bn$ and have achieved that more quickly than us. What they are doing is so impressive.
